Terms & Conditions
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and any quote, sale, supply or installation of solar panels, battery storage systems and related products or services by Australian Solar Power. By requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes and pricing
All prices, offers and promotions displayed on this website are indicative and subject to change without notice. Prices marked with an asterisk (*) are promotional prices that may assume eligibility for government rebates and incentives, and apply to a standard installation. A firm price is only confirmed in a written quote following a site assessment. Government rebate amounts and eligibility are set by the relevant authorities and may change at any time.
3. Rebates and incentives
We may assist you in applying for federal and Victorian government incentives, including the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme and the Victorian Solar Homes Program. We do not guarantee your eligibility, and final approval rests with the relevant scheme administrator. Any advertised price that includes a rebate is conditional on your eligibility being confirmed.
4. Installation
Installations are carried out by accredited installers. Installation is subject to a site inspection and may require additional work (such as switchboard upgrades) at additional cost, which will be discussed with you before proceeding. Installation timeframes are estimates only.
5. Warranties
Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We provide a workmanship warranty on our installation as stated in your written quote. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under that law.
6. Payment
Payment terms are set out in your written quote or invoice. Title in the goods remains with us until payment is received in full.
7. Cancellation and cooling-off
Where a cooling-off period applies under the Australian Consumer Law or the New Energy Tech Consumer Code, you may cancel within that period. Cancellations outside a cooling-off period may incur reasonable costs already incurred by us.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the resupply of the goods or services or the cost of resupply. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Privacy Policy
Australian Solar Power is committed to protecting your privacy and complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
